Getting Afloat

Have you ever thought about taking up kayaking but aren't sure where to start? Or have you bought a kayak and realised you can't tell the front from the back!

Our Getting Afloat sessions are designed with complete beginners in mind. You can bring your own kayak or use one of our fleet.

Over the course of this session we guide you through the basics and get you on the water in a safe and comfortable environment. This session focuses on getting to grips with the skills you need to manouevre your kayak on flat water. We will also go though the steps to take in the event of a capsize.

This is a half day session and a minimum of 4 participants is required for the session to go ahead.
