Stoves and cook systems

The stove range runs from pocket-sized canister burners that weigh less than a bar of chocolate to integrated systems that boil in a crosswind without a windshield. If you are cooking for one on a bothy trip, a simple screw-top burner does the job. For group camp kitchens or anything involving snow melt, the remote-canister and integrated systems give you far better simmer control and wind resistance. Igniters, canister adapters and low-profile stands are all stocked separately.

Tents, tarps and shelters

Two-pole tunnel tents for wild camping in wind, lightweight backpacking tents where every gram counts, tarp wings for a shaded cook area, and group emergency shelters that fold into a pocket. The tunnel designs are the ones to look at for exposed Atlantic coast pitches. Camp kitchen and cookware

Titanium and hard-anodised pots, ceramic-coated skillets, nesting cook sets, plates, cups and utensils. The titanium pieces are the obvious pick for solo trips where pack weight matters. The larger cook sets nest into themselves and work better when you are feeding three or four people from one stove. Water carriage

Dromedary bags for carrying and storing water at camp. They roll flat when empty, take up almost no space in a hatch or dry bag, and stand up to being dragged around a rocky pitch far better than a rigid container. Useful on any trip where the nearest tap is a long walk from where you sleep.

Stakes, guylines and repairs

Carbon-core stakes for hard ground, hook stakes for general use, and wide snow and sand stakes for pitches where a standard peg pulls straight out. Also shock cord replacement kits, fabric repair patches and spare pole sections, so a torn fly or a snapped pole does not end a trip or write off a tent. Worth adding a repair kit and a few spare stakes to any tent order.
