Return Policy

Please keep your receipt/invoice for anything you buy from us. It will ensure we can help you quickly, if you need to bring something back.

Your Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer purchasing for personal use, EU law gives you the right to withdraw from your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, please use our withdrawal form before the 14-day period expires. We will confirm receipt by email.

Once you have notified us of your intention to withdraw, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless we have failed to disclose this in advance, in which case we will cover it. Please ensure goods are returned unused and in their original condition and packaging.

We will issue a full refund, including your original delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of postage, whichever comes first.

Exchanges and Non-Withdrawal Returns

If you have received the wrong item or a faulty product, please contact us within 3 working days of delivery at sales@canoecentre.ie or call +353 (01) 626 4363 and we will resolve it promptly.

If you wish to return or exchange an item outside your statutory withdrawal period, this is at our discretion. Goods must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and returned within 30 days of delivery. You are responsible for return postage. Items that are not part of our standard stock and were specifically ordered for you are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Where we dispatch a replacement, standard postage charges apply. For large items such as kayaks and paddles, any additional delivery cost will be agreed with you before dispatch. This charge does not apply if you collect the replacement goods from our store.

Special Orders

Items ordered specifically for you that are not part of our standard stock are non-returnable under your statutory withdrawal right unless faulty.

Damaged Goods on Delivery

Please inspect all goods carefully upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, you must note this with the courier at the time of delivery and contact us within 2 working days so we can resolve the matter promptly. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. For canoes and kayaks delivered by our own transport, please thoroughly check your boat before our driver leaves.

Warranty Claims

For items with a manufacturer defect, please contact us with your order details and a description of the fault. Warranty goods must be returned at your cost initially, but if the claim is upheld we will refund your return postage in full. Please keep your postage receipt.
