The Kajak Sport KS-Navigator Rudder 500 is a premium kayak rudder system built around a gravity-based operating concept that is demonstrably more reliable than traditional spring-loaded designs. Rather than rotating around an axle, the 500mm blade slides smoothly along the deck, and an innovative auto-locking mechanism secures it firmly when deployed, releasing automatically on lift. Storing the blade vertically on the deck minimises wind resistance during transit or storage. Supplied complete with all necessary hardware in a bag, the 42mm pin version requires an optional rudder sleeve, sold separately.
