The Nova Craft Special Edition Prospector 16 is a striking twist on one of Canada's most iconic canoe designs, built in the brand's highly regarded TuffStuff composite material — a woven blend of basalt and Innegra fibres infused with a high-impact vinylester resin. Clear interior and exterior gelcoat reveals the distinctive black and white weave of the TuffStuff layup, giving the canoe a sophisticated steely grey appearance that is as functional as it is eye-catching. At 25.4 kg with a 454 kg load capacity, this symmetrical 488 cm hull is equally at home on wilderness expeditions or mixed-water day trips. Factory-fitted skidplates, anodised aluminium trim, and a contoured ash yoke complete the package, making it truly backcountry-ready from the moment it leaves the shop.
